Working flow principle of axial flow fan

- May 30, 2018 -

Axial fan blades work in a similar way to aircraft wings. However, the latter is lifting the lift up to the wing and supporting the weight of the aircraft, while the axial flow fan is fixed and moving the air.

The cross section of an axial flow fan is generally a wing profile. The blades can be fixed or rotate around their longitudinal axis. The angle between blades and airflow or blade spacing can not be adjusted or adjustable. Changing the blade angle or spacing is one of the main advantages of axial flow fans. The small blade spacing angle leads to lower flow rate, while increasing the spacing can result in higher flow rate.

The advanced axial fan can change the blade spacing during the operation of the fan, which is quite similar to that of the helicopter rotor, thus changing the flow accordingly. This is called a VP axial flow fan.

Axial-flow fan is also called a local fan. It is a common fan in industrial and mining enterprises. It is different from the general fan. Its motor and wind blade are in a cylinder, and the shape is a cylinder. It is used for local ventilation and easy to install. The effect of ventilation and ventilation is obvious and safe, and the wind can be sent to the designated area.
